How To Book Your Portrait Commission
Okay. So here’s the hard part. You have to choose the photo you want me to paint from! (Digital please; if possible.) Decisions, decisions! And make sure it’s a clear photo. No blur from camera jiggling! And no parts ‘cut off’ that you want in the painting. I need to be able to see everything you want painted. (Oh, I can ‘fake it in’ a little bit. But not very much.)
So now you need to think about Where you’ll hang it, so you’ll know what size you want. Prices are set mainly by the time I predict it will take me to do it. But also, sort of by size. (Which is basically about time too. The bigger they are, the longer they take.) And – I live in a really small space, so – can’t currently do ‘big’ paintings.
Once you have those things figured out, it’s time to contact me for your estimate. And then we can get you a slot on the list. And good job, You! Your ‘hard part’ is done!
